Golden Globe winner Jennifer Coolidge is a self-proclaimed makeup “mixologist”, and in her expertise, has denounced matte-looking makeup in favor of a dewy glow — and she even reveals to fans how to achieve the look.
Coolidge said she has been in beauty “forever”, revealing that her original career path was centered around cosmetology, having taken a makeup course in the 80s.
The ‘Legally Blonde’ actress said that she hates matte makeup and prefers the look of someone who has just exerted energy, and even goes as far to sometimes rub ice cubes on her face to keep it looking moist.
“I want to look like I just walked up a flight of stairs!” Coolidge proclaimed.
Jennifer Coolidge revealed to her fans how she achieves the dewy glow of someone who had just walked up the stairs. The actress puts her other beauty products on first and then applies glossy primer on the top layer — completely backward from the conventional way.
“I put products on out of order,” Coolidge said. “I put the primer on after my makeup because I feel like it makes me look extra dewy.”
“I always want to look like there’s moisture on my face,” Coolidge explained.
Jennifer Coolidge spilled that she and ‘Shotgun Wedding’ star Jennifer Lopez swap beauty secrets, which comes as no surprise since the two Jens — JLo and JCo — launched a joint TikTok account.
“She had these lashes on that were so real looking, but they were so long,” Coolidge said. “I wanted to ask her if they were hers, but I didn’t have the guts.”

Jennifer Coolidge is the face of the e.l.f. Cosmetics Super Bowl commercial for the brand’s Power Grip Primer.
In the commercial, Coolidge is seen unpacking a present that turns out to be a tube of very sticky makeup primer.
“I love presents, get ready for prime time,” the actress says, unpacking her gift and applying the primer to her face immediately.
‘Oh my goodness I look like a baby dolphin!” she exclaimed.
“This primer stuff sure is sticky. Yeah, this is a real good grip,” Coolidge says after gluing herself to the glass shower door after applying the product.
